Orientation 2005 included a required four evening class in Introduction to Law and Legal Systems, several optional seminars, and many social activities. The purpose of this week-long program is to help ease the transition into law school and promote student success.

Nearly 2,000 applications were received for 183 seats . . . 116 full-time, day + 67 part-time, evening. The students in this class represent 29 states, the Canadian Province of British Columbia, and the country of Japan. Their educational backgrounds are represented by 77 undergraduate schools, 66 undergraduate majors, 9 graduate schools, and 8 graduate majors.
