Orientation 2003 included a required four evening class in Introduction to Law and Legal Systems, several optional seminars, and many social activities. The purpose of this week-long program is to help ease the transition into law school and promote student success.

One hundred eighty three day and evening law students matriculated on Monday, August 18. These students competed with a record breaking 2,268 applicants for a seat in the entering class. The students in this class represented 25 states, 77 undergraduate schools, 50 undergraduate majors, 18 graduate schools, and 16 graduate majors.
