Orientation 2004 included a required four evening class in Introduction to Law and Legal Systems, several optional seminars, and many social activities. The purpose of this week-long program is to help ease the transition into law school and promote student success.

One hundred seventy four day and evening law students matriculated on Monday, August 23. These students competed with a record breaking 2,379 applicants for a seat in the entering class. The students in this class represented 25 states plus the Canadian Provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, 77 undergraduate schools, 60 undergraduate majors, 13 graduate schools, and 17 graduate majors.
