Akron’s teams have been a powerful presence at the TOC over the years. Akron’s team won the tournament in 2003 and student advocate Stuart Baker was named the tournament’s Best Advocate. Akron was the national runner-up in 2004 and student advocate Adam Stacy was named Best Advocate in the preliminary rounds. Akron was also the national runner-up in 1999 and won the Best Advocate award in 1996.
