American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy CompetitionAt least four students will be selected to two teams to compete in the ABA Competition. The problem for this competition involves a current issue of constitutional significance. You must be an ABA/Law Student Division member in order to compete.
2. BLSA-sponsored Moot Court Team
Four students will be selected to compete in a moot court competition sponsored by BLSA. You must be a BLSA member in order to be selected for this team.
3. Giles Sutherland Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition
Four students will be selected to two teams to compete in the Giles Sutherland Rich Competition. This competition requires each team to draft two briefs and usually involves a technical area of intellectual property law. In order to compete on this team, you must have a technical background and have some intellectual property class or work experience.
4. Pace Environmental Law Moot Court Competition
Three students will be selected to compete in this competition. The problem for this competition involves a current issue in environmental law. In order to compete on this team, you must have an environmental background or be enrolled in or have completed one or more environmental law classes.
5. Saul Lefkowitz Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition
Four students will be selected to two teams to compete in this intellectual property competition. The Lefkowitz competition involves a non-technical issue in intellectual property law, such as copyright, trademark, or tradename. In order to compete on this team, you must be enrolled in or have completed at least one intellectual property class.
