Printing from Lexis Advance
Law student Lexis Advance printing may be sent to the dedicated LexisNexis printer located behind the Circulation Desk. There is no charge for Lexis Advance printing sent to the LexisNexis printer. In order to send Lexis Advance prints to this printer students must use the Lexis Advance printing features and select the LexisNexis printer as their printer. The Circulation Desk staff will retrieve student Lexis Advance prints from the LexisNexis printer. There are no dedicated printers for WestlawNext or Bloomberg Law. Law students use the Law School network printers for their WestlawNext and Bloomberg Law prints.
Use the Internet browser print feature or the print command from the program you are using to send your print job to the network printers available to you at the Law School. Network printers are located on each floor of the Law School. The cost for network prints is 5 cents per side for black and white prints and 10 cents per side for color prints. Law Printer 3, located across from the Law Library Circulation Desk, offers the color print option. Printing is paid for using funds on either a Zip Card or UA Guest Card. Each network printer has a print release station next to it where you swipe your Zip Card/UA Guest Card to pay for and release your prints. For more information about Zip Cards/UA Guest Cards visit the Zip Card web page.
