The use of the ASP Library is subject to the following policies:

  • Items must be checked in and out through the Law Library Circulation Desk.
  • Two items may be checked out of the ASP Library for a 72 hour period.
  • You may not renew an item within 24 hours of returning it.
  • Overdue items will be subject to the late return penalty imposed by the Law Library.
  • Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were borrowed. Any item damaged or lost may be replaced at the expense of the individual who checked out the item.
  • Library materials are subject to copyright protection and are to be used only for educational purposes.
The use of the ASP Library is a privilege. That privilege may be revoked as a result of the misuse of ASP materials or violation of these policies. Be aware misuse of library materials is a violation of the Student Disciplinary Code.

READING WEEK AND EXAM PERIOD POLICIES

During reading week and the exam period, it is important all students have access to the study and review materials that are available in this office. With that in mind, during reading period and exams, the following circulation policies are in effect:
  • All items, even if used only in the library, must be checked out at the Circulation Desk and turned in at the Circulation Desk.
  • You may check out ONE item for 24 hours.
  • You may not sign out the same item within 24 hours of returning it.
  • Study materials should be returned promptly so all students may have access to them.
  • The fine for materials returned late will be $5.00 per calendar day.
