Anthony came to Akron after learning about Professor Charles Kirkwood and the Trial Team program.  Anthony was a part of the 1st Championship Team in the history of our program when he and partner Mark Casto won the Gourley Tournament as students in 1996.  Anthony has since coached 2 more championship teams at the Gourley Tournament and has coached 4 Best Advocates.  Last year, for the first time in the tournament's 45 year history, both Best Advocate Awards went to two members of the same team.  Akron students Brian Dodez and David Janski took top honors and thus secured their own spot in Gourley Tournament history.
Anthony was a long time Adult Felony Trial Prosecutor before entering private practice in the Spring of 2007.  He has appeared as a guest on Court TV's "The Best Defense" Program and has mentored several young trial lawyers.  Anthony's practice is almost exclusively criminal defense and he is an Acting Judge in his hometown of Lorain, Ohio.
