Computer Repair Services
Computer Repair Services is the repair facility for students, staff, most university owned computing equipment as well as the warranty vendor for computing equipment purchases through The Computer Store, the campus computer store. C.R.S. also provides University of Akron students with knowledgeable assistance in the setup and operation of their personal computer equipment.
Support Desk – ZipSupport Center
ZipSupport is your one-stop shop for front-line technical support at The University of Akron. We have designed the support system with you in mind! We offer help with registration, PeopleSoft, Springboard!, ID’s and Passwords, mobile device setup, as well as software assistance with Microsoft products and virus/malware scanning products.

Computer Solutions is an on-campus computer store that allows students, faculty, and staff to take advantage of academic discounts on computers, software, and peripherals.
Software Training and Technological Services
The Software Training and Technological Services unit provides specific training for administrative and academic software used University wide such as PeopleSoft and Springboard.
This group also provides training for widely used software programs.
To provide the support you need, Software Training and Technological Services staff provide a wide variety of training services to the university community, ranging from Microsoft Office Applications to PeopleSoft Software Training.
The staff is ready to help the University community use software technology more effectively.
ExamSoft offers a secure environment for administering exams.
