All current University of Akron students, faculty, staff are eligible to borrow materials from the UA Libraries circulating collections, as well as OhioLINK and Interlibrary Loan materials. Circulation policy requires a picture ID be presented at the time of check-out. Faculty and staff may apply for a proxy card, enabling designated students to check-out library materials in the instructor's name. Persons not affiliated with the University of Akron and UA alumni may request borrowing privileges in person at any UA Libraries location by presenting a state-issued ID.
