Information/Reference Desk

The reference area on the first floor of Bierce Library supports the informational and research needs of the university community, with particular emphasis on Business, Education, the Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Information/Reference Desk is located on the first floor of Bierce Library, opposite the stairwell. This is the appropriate service point for finding basic information such as location of books, journals, and other materials, and it is a good place to go for assistance in using OhioLINK resources and the UA Libraries online catalog.

This is also the best service point for obtaining assistance in utilizing the Library’s vast collection of online and print reference resources, online databases, the campus Web, ZipLINE, Springboard, and other important research tools.

General information and basic assistance is also available by phone at 330-972-8161.

Hours: The Reference/Information Desk is staffed most of the hours that the library is open.

The Science and Technology Library is located at 104 Auburn Science Center. The Science Library supports the pure and applied sciences, engineering, nursing and allied health fields, and polymer science and polymer engineering.

The Reference Desk for the Science Library is located on the main floor of the library and can be reached at 330-972-7195.
