University Libraries Reference Services
Bierce Library Information/Reference Desk
The reference area on the first floor of Bierce Library supports the informational and
research needs of the university community, with particular emphasis on Business,
Education, the Humanities and Social Sciences.
The Information/Reference Desk is located on the first floor of Bierce
Library, opposite the stairwell. This is the appropriate service point for finding
basic information such as location of books, journals, and other materials, and
it is a good place to go for basic instruction in the use of OhioLINK and ZipLINK,
the Library's online catalog.
The Information/Reference Desk is also the appropriate service point for obtaining
assistance in utilizing reference books, indexes, electronic resources,
databases, the World Wide Web and other research tools.
Both general information and research assistance are available at the Information/Reference
Desk (330)972-8161. Long distance reference service is provided toll-free at
1-888-226-4651. There is also TTY/TDD access to enable us to receive calls from
deaf or hearing impared users who use a similar device from home, work or
elsewhere on campus (330)972-2463.
Hours:
The Reference/Information Desk is staffed most of the hours that the library is
open. Please note that hours vary according to building hours during
