Storage Retrieval Requests
Because the shelves in both Bierce Library and the Science and Technology Library are overcrowded, some of the seldom-used materials have been relegated to off-site storage facilities. Books from either Local Storage (the closed stacks in the lower level of the Polsky Building) or the NE Regional Depository can be requested using the online catalog (UA Libraries Catalog). Requests for bound periodical volumes, reference books or photocopied articles from periodicals are available for request by submitting the following forms:
You will be notified by email when the volume or book you've requested is ready to be picked up. Articles under 30 pages will be delivered to your email account as PDF documents.
Please check your UA email to receive your library notices. If you prefer to use an alternate email address, follow the forwarding instructions below:
- Go to the UAnet Services web page: https://gozips.uakron.edu/zid/app/
- Under Essential Links, select E-mail Management
- Select: Manage my E-mail Settings
- Select: the Forward mail button
- Type the email address you prefer to use -- Double check to make sure you have typed the email address correctly!
- Click on: the Forward My E-mail button
