Birds of North America (BNA) Online provides a living resource of comprehensive life histories and current research for more than seven hundred species of birds breeding in the United States (including Hawaii) and Canada. Published by Cornell Lab of Ornithology and American Ornithologists' Union. Content includes photographs, illustrations, and videos displaying plumages, behaviors, habitat, nests, eggs, and more. In addition BNA Online includes sound recordings and calls of the species from Cornell's Macaulay Library of Natural Sounds. Contents are updated frequently, with contributions from researchers, citizen scientists, and designated reviewers and editors.
Borror Laboratory of Bioacoustics, Digital Animal Sounds contains digitized recordings of animal sounds from the Borror Laboratory of Bioacoustics at The Ohio State University. The Borror Laboratory houses one of the largest collections of recorded animal sounds in the world with more than 30,000 recordings of over 1000 species of animals.
