Career Planning at MCUC

Career planning is a service offered by The University of Akron Medina County University Center.  This service is for individuals just beginning career exploration to those with experience who are seeking to make a change. Our goal is to assist individuals in discovering their next career destination with a strong emphasis on career fulfillment.

What Can MCUC Help Me With?

At MCUC, some of the areas a career coach can assist with include:

• Career “next destination” decision-making
• Career research to promote informed decision-making
• Exploration of The University of Akron Academic Programs
• Ways to “experience” careers including informational interviews, shadowing, volunteering, part-time work and internships
