PHOTOSHOP CS3 BEGINNING
This class is an introduction to Photoshop menus, palettes and navigation tools. Learn how to import your photos into the application through scanning and effective use of the file browser. Work with the marquee tool to select images to scale, skew, resize and invert a selection. Learn about the color palette and the use of the eyedropper tool to control color in your images. Explore the power of layers to alter and move elements of an image as well as minimize file size. Learn how to easily retouch and restore vintage photos and add filters for a customized special effect. Bring a few of your pictures to class on CD and apply your new skills to your own personal photographs! Prerequisite: Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows. Previous photography or image creation experience is helpful.
