Introduction to Solidworks
Learn the skills required to create and modify three-dimensional solid modeled parts and assemblies, and related official engineering drawing for each part and assembly. Numerous part and assembly applications will be investigated through design projects. Topics include the use of sketches with dimensions, extrudes, revolves, sweeps, patterns, lofts, shells, molds, sheet metal parts, proper engineering drawing symbols and procedures, and exposure to rapid prototyping. Instructor: Jake Bennett

SQL - Structured Query Language
SQL is the standard language for communicating with most existing databases. If you use Oracle, Sybase, SQL, Access, Ingres or any other relational database management system, this course will give you a foundation. Learn the basic tools and methods for proper database design as well as the SQL tools to be able to store and retrieve information in multiple tables for summarizing and reporting purposes. Session One:

• File structure: files, folders, file paths, bits and bytes, mega/giga/terra
• Storage: capacity of different devices, files, folders, and drive sizes
• Moving, creating, saving: drag and drop, copying files to another drive. Moving/saving. Zipping/unzipping files

Session Two:

• File searches: searching for files by name, association, time created. Partial searches, wild cards
• Build programs: word pad, create and save a document
• Online programs: e-mail, save and send attachments
