


Have you dreamed of owning a business but just don’t know where to start? Laying careful groundwork can make all the difference in whether your idea succeeds or fails. There are many detailed, and often complex, components to getting a business off the ground, but this course will help you to discover all the nuances and information you’ll need to move your idea in the right direction…towards success.
Small Business and Entrepreneur Basics is composed of seven sessions designed to help you make the critical decision of whether or not to start a business. Medina City residents that complete the program will have the opportunity to apply for a low-interest loan that may turn their business dreams into a reality. This program is the result of the collective efforts of The City of Medina, The Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce, SCORE, The SBDC (Small Business Development Center), The University of Akron Medina County University Center and The OEOC (Ohio Employee Ownership Center). Prequalification required. Space is limited.
