Sue Louscher joined The University of Akron as the Director of the Medina County University Center in June, 2006. Prior to this position, she served for seven years as the Assistant Director for Workforce Development and Continuing Studies at Kent State University Tuscarawas. In that role, she designed and marketed workforce development programs for business and industry and represented the campus in a variety of community and economic development activities. Before joining Kent State, she spent ten years as a business development consultant in Washington, D.C. where she helped design and implement market access strategies for international companies who wanted to partner on programs for NASA and the Department of Defense.
Sue received her BA from The University of Akron and her MA from The George Washington University. |

Jeanette L. Berger became a member of the Medina County University Center staff in October 2008 as an Academic Adviser. Prior to joining MCUC, she worked in the Office of New Student Orientation at The University of Akron's main campus for seven years. She has also been a Student Success Seminar instructor since 2005 and is affiliated with the Academic Advisement Center.
Jeanette earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business and Organizational Communication and Public Relations in 2004, and her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration in 2006, both from The University of Akron. She hopes to start her Doctoral work very soon.

Ray Buck joined the Medina County University Center (MCUC) in 2008 as Computer Support Specialist. Prior to joining MCUC he studied at The University of Akron where he recieved his Associates of Applied Business in Computer Information Systems. He has been a student assistant and a co-op student at the University while attending school for the past 3 years. His hobbies include 4-Wheeling, camping, working on his trucks, hunting, and traveling.

Jennifer Dedo joined the Medina County University Center (MCUC) in April 2008 as Office Support Specialist. Prior to joining MCUC, Jennifer taught in the Kent City and Tallmadge City School Districts. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Youngstown State University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a concentration in early childhood from Kent State University.

David Maschek joined The University of Akron in January of 2008 as the Lead Computer Support Specialist of the Medina County University Center. Prior to joining the University of Akron, David worked as an Information Technology Consultant.
David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with major concentration in Computer Information Systems from Kent State University.

Debbie Ruhe became Manager of Business Operations and Finance of the Medina County University Center in September 2008 although has been a part of the Medina Center since 2006. Prior to this promotion, she was Administrative Assistant since October 2007 and a part-time Program Assistant for the MCUC since October 2006. Debbie spent over 11 years at Kent State University Stark Campus as Assistant Director of the Office of Corporate and Community Services.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a concentration in training and development for business and industry.

Denise Testa joined The University of Akron as Associate Director for Student Services of the Medina County University Center in January, 2007. Prior to this position, she served for eight years as the Director of Enrollment Management and Student Services at Kent State University Tuscarawas. In that role, she worked with a team in order to design campus-wide short- and long-term enrollment management plans; develop strategic initiatives promoting student success; and deliver one-stop student services. In addition, Denise also coordinated academic advising, worked with the Educational Opportunity Center focusing on adult students, and supervised New Student Orientation for traditional, nontraditional and transfer students. Her experience also includes facilitating the research, development and implementation of new certificate and associate degree programs. Before joining Kent State, Denise worked in The University of Akron Admissions Office as an assistant director.
Denise received her BA and MA from The University of Akron.
