Elder Law Symposium to be Held Sept. 30 and Oct. 1
Akron, Ohio, Sept. 10, 2004 — The University of Akron School of Law will host an Elder Law Symposium on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 at the McDowell Law Center, Room L-151. The symposium will focus on crucial topics in representing elderly clients, including both ethical concerns and ways in which the law affects older clients. Scheduled speakers include Professors of Law Teresa Collett, University of St. Thomas School of Law; Robert Dinerstein, American University; Patricia McCoy, University of Connecticut School of Law; Robyn Meadows, Widener University School of Law; and University of Akron Law Professors Carolyn Dessin and Alan Newman. Cost is $200 for CLE credit or $50 for faculty and those not seeking CLE credit. Students are free.
