School of Law Announces First-Ever Summer Abroad Program
Akron, Ohio, Dec. 4, 2007 –– The University of Akron School of Law will offer its first-ever summer abroad program in Geneva, Switzerland. The program will run from July 15 to Aug. 14, 2008 at Webster University in Geneva, with easy access to the United Nations Geneva Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization. Housing options at the university will be provided. The planned curriculum will offer up to six credits of coursework from among three different three-credit courses. Courses offered will be Comparative Sales Law; Comparative Family Law; and International and Comparative Intellectual Property Law. The program is open to law students at American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law schools and is an opportunity for students to earn transfer credits for law school.
