ROTC to Host Push-up Contest

April 11, 2008 -- The University of Akron Department of Military Science (ROTC) will host a push-up contest on Friday, April 18, from 2 to 4 p.m. on the grassy area between Zook Hall and the Student Union.

There will be male and female divisions. Participants will do as many push-ups as they can in two minutes.
Pushups must conform to the U.S. Army standard.

Prizes will be given out and all will have the opportunity to win a one-semester ROTC scholarship to the university.
