Polsky Building Renovations
There’s a vibrant, contemporary new look on the third floor of the Polsky Building, home to Summit College and other University programs. The
$1 million makeover in 2006 resulted in the addition of a full-service Starbucks and Summit Bistro — an expanded food court. Additional changes included renovations to the Barnes & Noble Bookstore and a new DocuZip store.
There were changes on the fifth floor as well, where the College of Business Administration’s Gary and Karen Taylor Institute for Direct Marketing is located. Renovations added 14,000 square feet to the institute. New features include an applied research area with a focus group facility and e-marketing usability laboratory; interactive, executive classrooms; infomercial studio; student project rooms; international direct marketing and student business incubator suites; and a large student reception and study area.
