Student Recreation and Wellness Center

At 140,000 square feet, this facility offers a wide variety of activities to University of Akron students. It is part of a 295,000 square foot recreation complex, one of the largest on Ohio's campuses, and is attached to the existing Ocasek Natatorium. The design was done by Moody/Nolan Architects of Columbus, Ohio.

Here are a few of its features:

* Rock climbing wall that is 56 feet straight up
* Leisure pool, spa and lazy river
* Three-court gymnasium
* Two-court, multi-sport area
* Cardiovascular training area
* Free weights and strength training area
* Aerobics/dance studio
* Four-lane elevated running/walking track
* Climbing Rock Cafe
* University Health Services
