Views of the Student Union

Exterior views of UA's expansive Student Union show the two-story atrium, where Starbucks Coffee is located (above) and the main entrance, which opens onto Buchtel Common (below, left). Also seen here is a view of the seating in Union Market, the food court, along with the eight-lane bowling alley. Mosaics provide focal points in the new building, as seen in the second row of photos. The mosaic at left features campus scenes and is located in the food court area. The mosaic on the right features a waterfall and built-in seating area. In the third row of photos are views from Union Market — this cheerful chef offers a welcome to everyone. The last row of photos shows the computer kiosks located throughout the Student Union, along with a spiral view of the building, from top to bottom, and one of the two-story bookstore, which features a mural of campus scenes as well as the lower level, where textbooks are located.
