Wayne College Facilities Enhancement

Wayne College welcome sign Founded in 1972, Wayne College is The University of Akron's only branch campus. The easy access, sprawling facility is housed under one roof in the midst of 160 acres in Orrville, Ohio. During a yearlong renovation project that was completed in August 2001, 11,700 square feet was added to the facility and another 7,400 was remodeled.

The new and renovated spaces are dedicated to Wayne's library and some technologically enhanced classrooms. A new courtyard also was part of the addition. Louis Perry & Associates, Inc., of Wadsworth did the design.
