Simmons Hall The University of Akron's new "front door" is a 94,000 square foot facility located at the corner of College Street and Buchtel Avenue. Simmons Hall is the the hub for Student Affairs, providing students with a one-stop-shop for everything from admissions to registration to financial aid and career counseling. URS Corporation of Akron did the design.
