Since opening its doors in 2011, the National Polymer Innovation Center has served as a hub for faculty members, students and research partners from industry and national laboratories to work cooperatively to provide solutions to emerging challenges in the areas of health, energy and sustainability.
The 42,750-square-foot facility is complete with 10 laboratories and large high-bay areas filled with state-of-the art research instrumentation.
The NPIC is the first “green” building on UA’s campus and the first to aquire LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. Read more here.
