Akron Adventures is a great way to meet other new students and talk about your expectations for college.
By going on one of these unique experiences you gain the opportunity to meet other students, both new and current, gain important leadership skills, learn more about UA and give yourself a new challenge.

Each trip is available exclusively to incoming freshmen. You will have an opportunity to learn more about college, have a lot of fun, and explore the beautiful outdoors in this incredible first-year experience.

White Water Rafting
Dates: July 29-31
Group Size Maximum: 18
Deadline to Confirm Registration: July 8
Location: Ohiopyle, PA
What's included? Transportation to and from UA's campus to rafting site, camping equipment, food, campsite registration, & rafting registration.
This trip departs on Friday from UA's campus and returns Sunday evening.
Dates: August 15-19
Group Size Maximum: 9
Deadline to Confirm Registration: July 25
Location: Laurel River Lake, Kentucky
What's included? Transportation to and from UA's campus to campsite, camping equipment, food, kayaking equipment, campsite registration, & Monday night activity.
The first night of this trip will be spent on UA's campus where you will learn how to set up a campsite on UA's Coleman Common. This trip departs Tuesday morning and returns Friday evening.

Once you preregister, you will be contacted regarding next steps to confirm your participation and complete payment. Preregistration does reserve a spot in a particular trip if available until that trip's confirmation deadline.
