Your New Student Orientation Confirmation Letter provides the details you need to get ready for orientation.

Your Pre-orientation Checklist

• Confirm the major printed on your confirmation letter. Contact the Office of New Student Orientation if any information is incorrect.
• Add your orientation date to your calendar. Your orientation packet or reschedule letter will tell you the start and ending times for your orientation.
• Prepare for Academic Advising
  • Schedule placement tests (Transfer students should skip this step)
  • Get to know MyAkron and your student e-mail account
