Admission

The admission requirements for the Doctor of Nursing Practice program include:

  1. Current licensure as a registered nurse and hold a certificate of authority
  2. A master's degree in nursing with an advanced practice focus from an accredited university with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  3. Three letters of reference from individuals who can address the applicant's potential to succeed in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program and who can attest to clinical expertise
  4. A pre-admission interview in person or by telephone with the program director
  5. A 300 word essay describing professional goals and area of interest for your capstone project
