National Volunteer Week, April 21-27 2013, is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. It’s about demonstrating to the nation that by working together, we have the fortitude to meet our challenges and accomplish our goals.
This week long event held at the end April includes a multitude of events sponsored by departments and organizations across campus. Previous events include: “Ohio Day of Pride” trash pick-up event, Fraternity and Sorority Life Coloring Books and pages made from members of our Fraternities and Sorority Life, working with Habitat for Humanity, speakers who have influenced what it means to be a volunteer and many more.
