• OCSS Graduate Assistant for Student Success and Operations

• Do you live off-campus in the area that surrounds the University?  Are you looking for a job?

  Introducing Community Ambassadors at The University of Akron.  These students work with the Department of Off-Campus Student Services to provide helpful information to off-campus residents.  Working eight to ten hours a week, each ambassador will provide social and educational information to fellow off-campus students that live near them. 

  Duties included but not limited to:

  • Participate in monthly Neighborhood Block Watch meeting
  • Create and maintain a Facebook page for your community
  • Interact with students, residents and landlords that live in  your community
  • Gather groups of students to engage in programs offered by Off-Campus Student Services and other UA departments
