Good Morning and Good Afternoon Commuters

We know how hard it can be to get food on the go, so we provide you
with a snack, while giving you the opportunity to meet people and learn
more about campus. Good Morning Commuters includes complimentary coffee, juice, donuts and muffins. Cookies are served during Good Afternoonand Commuters.

Housing Fair

Whether you are looking to move closer to campus or are interested in
looking for another campus-area apartment, the Off-Campus Student Services staff
is here to help. In addition to our Off-Campus Housing website, each spring
semester we organize a housing fair. We bring area rental property companies
to campus to provide you with information.

Pizza with the Police

Each month we bring together students, the police, and pizza! It gives
you the opportunity to meet members of the University of Akron Police
Department and Akron Police Department. Campus and community safety is
discussed, as well as other questions and concerns of the student body.

Treat Bags for Akron Children's Hospital

Off-Campus Student Services works with students to create treat bags to be passed out to the kids at Akron Children's Hospital.

Trunk-or-Treat

Off-Campus Student Services works with the university community to help with a new community Trick-or-Treat option. It is held at Leggett Community Learning Center and all the candy is brought by students and organizations and passed out to the children of the community.

Zipnic

Off-Campus Student Services works with the Akron community to engage them in a picnic-esque event held on Buchtel Field. Come meet the staff and your neighbors and play some games while eating.
