International Students and Scholars Services

Beginning with check-in and orientation, the staff of International Student & Scholar Services unit (ISSS) in the Office of International Programs assists international students, scholars and other international visitors with documentation, regulations, cultural adjustments, academic issues and other concerns. The University of Akron's ISSS assists international visitors in understanding the rules, regulations, and procedures that must be followed during their stay in the United States.
