


Appointment:
Meet with an Education Abroad Adviser for a personal planning session. Complete an "Intake Form" when you first arrive, describing the best program for you. Come with specific questions.
Appointments are held in Polsky 483. Note: You may want to attend an "Open Chat" session before you make an appointment with an adviser in order to help you have the information that you need to be prepared for this meeting. Call 330-972-6349 for an appointment.
Around-the-World Party:
Enjoy this fun event each year. Cultural demonstrations, international music, information about international on-campus organizations and refreshments are all a part of this celebration of cultural diversity. Gather at the stated venue on campus.
Fair:
An annual event held in October in the Student Union. Representatives from international programs on- and off-campus are present at fair booths to discuss the benefits and opportunities of studying or working abroad on their programs. Free marketing-type items, such as pens and key chains, are often provided.
Forum:
A chance for an intercultural learning experience. Student sojourners from UA who have been abroad, as well as exchange students studying at UA, discuss their own experiences and describe their host/home institutions. Gather at the stated venue on campus. Refreshments are provided.
Get-Acquainted Coffee:
An opportunity to drop by and meet the staff of International Programs. Pick up general information about the Education Abroad Program. Gather at the stated venue on campus. Coffee and doughnuts are provided.
Open Chat:
An informal chance to talk with a Education Abroad Adviser. Come with friends! Gain important information, have your questions answered and join in relaxed conversation. No appointment is necessary. Meet in Polsky 483.
Study Abroad 101:
Learn how to select an education abroad program that is right for you and identify resources to make it happen! Presentation sponsored by the "First Year Experience," University College Dean's Office. Times and locations vary.
