New Student Multicultural Orientation ADVANCE

          

 

What is ADVANCE?
ADVANCE is a special two-day orientation program for multicultural students at The University of Akron. Participants meet with current UA students, faculty, and administrators that help students learn how to identify and handle the challenges typically encountered in the freshmen year.

Some of the benefits of ADVANCE include experiencing an overnight stay in a residence hall, participation in interactive informational sessions, review of the financial aid process, meet other multicultural students and learn more about the support services offered at The University of Akron.

 

2012 Advance Dates: 

Wednesday, March 14 (Please note: this orientation does not have an overnight component and will only be a one-day event).
Monday, May 14- Tuesday, May 15
Sunday, May 20 - Monday, May 21
Monday, June 18- Tuesday, June 19
Wednesday, June 27- Thursday, June 28
Tuesday, July 10- Wednesday, July 11
Sunday, July 22- Monday, July 23
