Biography

I began my secretarial career at Ohio Edison Company right out of high school and worked there for 18 years before moving to Arizona.  After 4 years in Phoenix, where I worked for a cable TV contractor and a financial consulting agency, I returned to Akron and began working in the Philosophy Department, where I've been for over 25 years.  During this time I earned an Associate of Arts degree, with a concentration in philosophy, from the Community & Technical College (now Summit College) and have been blessed with 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  I live happily in Portage Lakes with John Mayer--the roofer, not the singer.
