||All Exempt (Salary) Employees were given access to production EmpCenter to begin their review of the system. They will begin using the system live on Friday, November 1st. All Exempt (Salary) Employees will use EmpCenter for leave requests, leave approvals and leave time reporting. Part-time Exempt will begin using EmpCenter for reporting their work hours on a weekly basis to comply with the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
||The Phase 1 Non-Exempt (Hourly) employee group has gone live into production as planned. This includes hourly employees from the HR, ITS and Controller's Office. This also included all managers for these hourly employees. All Exempt (Salary) employees will be going live on November 1st. Testing continues for all of the Phase 2 groups which includes all remaining Non-Exempt employees. This testing will continue until November 15th with a Go Live date of November 18th established for the rest of the employees.
||Based on outstanding issues uncovered through user acceptance testing, the Phase 1 Go-Live implementation has been delayed until October 21, 2013 with all exempt (salary) employees scheduled to go live on November 1, 2013. The Phase 2 Go-Live implementation has been delayed until November 18, 2013. A second Open Forum to provide a brief demo of the system and to answer questions related to the project is scheduled on September 20th at 10AM. Training for the Phase 1 groups will be offered in the second half of October and for the Phase 2 groups it will be offered in mid November.
||Training for those who will be helping with the Phase 1 testing is now being completed. Access to the system to allow for testing by those trained will begin on July 30th. This testing is expected to continue until mid to late August. An Open Forum to provide a brief demo of the system and to answer questions related to the project is scheduled on August 2nd at 10AM in the Student Union.
||Configuration setup and system testing by consultants from Workforce Software is completed. Because the configuration phase took longer than planned, the Phase 1 Go-Live implementation has been delayed until September 23, 2013 to avoid having the system going in near the start-up of the Fall semester. The Phase 2 Go-Live implementation has been delayed until October 21, 2013. A test plan has been developed and will be used for testing the EmpCenter system for formal User Acceptance Testing. This testing starts July 9th and will continue until mid-September. The core team will provide initial testing with access provided to the departments participating in the Phase 1 implementation later in July.
||Configuration setup and system testing by consultants from Workforce Software is taking longer than expected due to several issues uncovered in their testing which have not been corrected yet. This effort was scheduled to be completed on 6/26/2013 but due to this delay is rescheduled for completion by the first week of July.
||The definition of the requirements for the project are completed and approved and the project timeline has been adjusted and can be found here.
