What Do I Need To Do

Use the following guide to help understand what is expected as the project progresses.

    1. Review the Go Live calendar to determine your Policy Group’s Go Live date:
      • October 21st = HR, ITS, and the Controller’s Office Non-Exempt (Hourly) Employees ONLY Go Live
      • November 1st = ALL UA Exempt (Salary) Employees Go Live
      •  November 18th = Go Live for Remaining Departments begin
    2. Complete the appropriate Time & Attendance related forms:
    3. Talk with your Supervisor to determine what method of time collection you will use; Web Clock, Badge Reader or Time Clock. Methods of time collection are outlined here: http://www.uakron.edu/projects/time-attendance/time-collection-options.dot
    4. Determine your Policy Group/Employee Classification:
    5. Attend EmpCenter Training:
      • Online classes, job aids and tutorials available for your review by Policy Group/Employee Classification: http://www.uakron.edu/training/empcenter.dot
      • Software Training has scheduled sessions as follows through November:

        Exempt (Salary)  Employees

    6. Attend an Open Labs: EmpCenter facilitators will be available to assist with completing tasks such as approving your initial time sheets. 
    7. Review the Go Live Checklist appropriate for you:
    8. Read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) gathered at the (3) Project Open Forums which will answer many of your questions.
