Biography

Jim Sage is the vice president for information technology and chief information officer at The University of Akron.

Sage joined UA in 2005 from American Teleradiology Management Group, a medical services company in Chagrin Falls. His career also includes serving as executive vice president and chief information officer at Agilysis, an electronics and computer systems distributor based in Cleveland, as vice president over information systems at OfficeMax in Cleveland, and as vice president of management information systems at Camelot Music Inc. in Canton.

Sage earned a B.S. in Industrial Management and Management Information Systems at The University of Akron. He also graduated from the CIO Academy at Emory University.
