INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the archive for Perspectives from the Provost, a weekly essay that keeps faculty, staff and contract professionals current on our progress in such areas as:

  • student success;
  • faculty and professional development;
  • strategic planning;
  • tools, programs and collaborations to make your job easier;
  • new partnerships and programs; and
  • teaching and learning initiatives.

The essays, often authored by those who are leading the initiatives, are distributed weekly via e-mail during the fall and spring semesters. I welcome your comments on the newsletter or on any topic we cover. Please send them to perspectives@uakron.edu.

Dr. Elizabeth Stroble
Senior Vice President and Provost
