The Faculty Senate Ad hoc General Education Revision Committee has presented a draft proposal for a new General Education curriculum to the Faculty Senate. |

2013 HLC Self-Study and Site Visit UA is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. UA was last accredited in 2003, and is currently preparing a self-study to examine performance. |

Three-year Pathways to a Baccalaureate Degree Students who enter The University of Akron as a first semester freshman may be able to complete some baccalaureate programs in three years. |
