Who Needs This Information?
New employees and/or current employees that need access, or that have transferred to a new department. If you transfer to a new department and still need PeopleSoft access, you will need to obtain a new ID and password, your security does not transfer to the new department with you.
Peoplesoft Security Request Form
A Peoplesoft Security Request Form must be completed. The security form will automatically route through a workflow process which will require multiple approvals; the process can take 7 – 10 days. Please call the Support/Help Desk at ext. 6888 for questions related to the security form process.
If you only need to approve PeopleSoft Requisitions, no training is required. Training materials are available for approvers on the PeopleSoft Financials training page under the “Requisitions – Approvers” heading.
Training is required to enter PeopleSoft Requisitions. Visit the online course catalog and complete the course titled “PeopleSoft Requisitions”. The training includes a quiz requirement - an 80% is required to pass the quiz and the quiz can be repeated as many times as necessary. Upon successful completion of the quiz, the participant will be asked to complete a survey. The survey is how the completion of the course is recorded, so it is very important that the survey be completed. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any problems regarding the training.
