For purposes of determining and/or reporting eligibility to Selective Service, Veterans Administration, Social Security, and other similar agencies, an undergraduate student enrolled for 12 credits or more during any regular term will be considered full time. Graduate Students and Law Students are full time if enrolled in 9 or more credits during any regular term.

Students working on an approved experiential learning field assignment and when complying with the rules and regulations of the experiential learning programs are recognized as full-time students at The University of Akron.
