Pursuing a Law degree?
The University of Akron School of Law conducts a single commencement ceremonyat the conclusion of the spring semester. School of Law students are permitted, though, to apply for graduation at the conclusion of either fall or spring semester.
All candidates for a Law degree must initiate the graduation process by obtaining a Graduation Application from the School of Law and submit it to the Office of the University Registrar.
There is no charge for submitting a graduation application if it is received in the Office of the University Registrar no later than the deadline identified in the following schedule:

Applications received after the stated deadline must be accompanied by (1) a memo from your academic dean that clearly states the rationale for granting you permission to violate the graduation application deadline and (2) a $100 late application fee.
Methods of Submitting Applications

- Fax your application to 330-972-8632.
- Hand deliver your application to Simmons Hall room 120 located at the corner of Buchtel Avenue and College Street on the Akron campus.
