A student interested in earning credits by special examination may do so with the permission of the dean of the student's college and the dean of the college in which a particular course is offered and by payment of the credit by examination fee. The grade obtained in such an examination is recorded on the student's permanent academic record. Credit by examination is not permitted during the term before graduation nor can it be used to implement the repeat for change of grade policy. Credit by Examination Forms are available from college and/or department offices.
