FRC Proposal Submission Basics

Before preparing a proposal for submission to the Faculty Research Committee (FRC), read the current Guidelines carefully to fully understand the requirements.

Be aware that the FRC is usually comprised of 20-25 members, from a wide variety of disciplines across campus. Therefore, the proposal must communicate the proposed research and the significance of this research to scholars from other disciplines, as well as provide enough detail to permit technical evaluation by those more familiar with the area.

A detailed research plan, timeline and budget indicate to the FRC that the project has been carefully planned, and provides assurance that the project will be successfully completed.
