Student Venture Fund at The University of Akron Advisory Board

Student Venture Fund’s (SFVUA) Advisory Board includes angel investors and venture capitalists, industry leaders, area economic development professionals, serial entrepreneurs, and faculty from myriad departments at several Northeast Ohio universities. The Advisory Board is carefully selected each year from those individuals students believe will best be able to mentor and teach them about entrepreneurship, innovation, early stage investment and business strategy.

As an integral part of Northeast Ohio’s first and only student-run venture fund, SVFUA Advisory Board members:

• Attend annual fund meetings
• Share their expertise on a one-on-one basis with students from all academic disciplines
• Recommend companies for deal flow
• Make connections for and investments in companies vetted by SVFUA
