Student Venture Fund at The University of Akron

The Student Venture Fund at The University of Akron (SVFUA) is currently recruiting graduate students from all academic disciplines, who are interested in entrepreneurship and wish to gain unique leadership experience and a connection to successful area business leaders. As a member of SVFUA, you will:

• Learn about entrepreneurial finance from entrepreneurs, business leaders and venture capitalists
• Raise funding
• Screen applicant companies
• Team with other fund members to analyze the business, marketing, technology and legal strategies of at least two companies per year

SVFUA requires commitment to participate for at least one academic year, as members will be an integral part of Northeast Ohio’s first and only student-run angel fund. As a member of the SVFUA, you can help fund innovative entrepreneurs in Northeast Ohio and gain unparalleled experience in entrepreneurship.
